Pope Benedict and Vatican Involved In Some Messy Newspaper Scandal

There must be many days Benedict goes I really wish I could retire. This appears to be one of those weeks.

This all seems to be Italian inside baseball to an American like me so I am not sure what is so fascinating about all this. It's apparent some politicians got their feathers ruffled at some point. The American papers have not covered this or given much context of the players involved. However in Italy it is big news. There are several articles throughout this page on all this.
