Citizens United Shows Sorry State of Supreme Court Reporting

If just read the papers and the blogs over the recent Free Speech case and knew nothing about the law I would think

-That the majority made some major judicial proclamation on the personhood of Corporations and that was their major theme. (Note the majority is much more concerned about the real red blooded human beings that actually are a part of the corporation and their rights. For instance when a Corporation does a criminal act the cops don't go to the Sec of States Office , pull the articles of Incorporation papers and put that in a jail cell. See ERON.)

-That before last week corporations had no Constitutional Rights. They had no first amendment rights at all and this was some new fangled idea the "supposed" non activist conservative majority pulled out of thin air.

There is a always a huge argument that we should have the Court on TV more. That the public will get educated on these issues. Well after years of Court TV, Nancy Grace, and a series of Supreme Court nomination Senate hearings the public and indeed the pundits seem clueless as ever when reporting legal news.
