Catholic Senators Give Pope Benedict the Bird on Conscience Protection

I noted today that the Pope accepted the Credentials of our U.S Ambassador to the Holy See. See

Our new Ambassador noted how peachy our President was. See Pope Benedict Was Blessed to Hear A lot About Obama Today .

Well I am afraid the Ambassador on the first day of work already has a problem. From the Papal remarks today at the event

"The Church in the United States contributes to this discernment particularly through the formation of consciences and her educational apostolate, by which she makes a significant and positive contribution to American civic life and public discourse. Here I think particularly of the need for a clear discernment with regard to issues touching the protection of human dignity and respect for the inalienable right to life from the moment of conception to natural death, as well as the protection of the right to conscientious objection on the part of health care workers, and indeed all citizens. "

Sadly it appears we have a problem as to the Health Care bill again.

See Catholics Against Conscience via Creative Minority Report.

Hopefully the President can make a call or something down to the Senate. God know they are not listening to their faith.
