Mrs Lopez at National Review Is Attacking MIKE Huckabee Again

Katheryn Lopez does not (Heart ) Mike Huckabee in case anyone did not realize it.

Didn't we just do this last week? Oh Yes we did see Kathryn Jean Lopez Obsession With Huckabee Continues

Mrs Lopez can not let things go. I decide to check into the Corner, and see how the battle for Conservatism, Mom , Apple Pie and oh yes McCain and the GOP were going. Seems Mrs Lopez is attacking fellow Republicans again. I am not exactly sure who her boss is over at the National Review ,but perhaps they need to tell her to work for the Club for Growth or whoever is pulling her chain on her own time.

She takes a article about McCain's standing on the polls and uses that to do AGAIN an another anti Huckabee post.

Headlines like this one make me very nervous: "McCain's Lead Among Evangelicals Smaller than Bush's in '04"I worry McCain things all his evangelical and conservative problems will be solved by adding Mike Huckabee to the ticket. Mike Huckabee, of course, will add to his problems among conservatives (since he isn't one).

Mrs Lopez it appears had not learned the fine art of being subtle when she is trying to inject another one of her anti Huckabee rants on the board.

It gets worse LOL. She then prints this Email:

Kathryn,Your comment about McCain choosing Huckabee is quite, quite troubling. I'm an Evangelical born and raised, with bona fides from a good many of the established markers of the movement. Huckabee won't help McCain. I would consider not voting if Huckabee is on the ticket. Why? Because young Evangelicals like myself (I'm 33, so not entirely young I suppose) are very much moving against the kind of older style Evangelical that Huckabee represents. In fact, the problem isn't so much with McCain not reaching the same audience as Bush did, the problem is Evangelicalism is changing.

A good many young, my age and younger, Evangelicals I know are passionate Obama supporters.I hate to say this but McCain isn't likely to get those people back, and he'd be much, much better off cementing his support in other directions. I think that if he wins and governs well he could get the younger Evangelicals back in 2012, especially as Obama shows himself to be another typical politician over the next months. Evangelicals are going through a massive political identity crisis right now and should not, absolutely should not, be courted according to some outdated pre-2004 model. We are too disjointed right now for our collective views to be a determining factor, especially as doing so would alienate other voting groups.

Now first I can tell you from experience that is not the only email she got. She has never answered any of mine. On the Huckabee Boards during the primary her name was Legion for her over the top attacks. She never printed their emails either

First the email is laughable. It also flys into the face of what Huckabee is and what pundits say he is. Huckabee is not a "old type" Evangelical. Is he not and was he not reported as the new style Evangelical? Were there not numerous reports and articles written how the OLD GUARD of the Evangelical world resented him and how many young Evangelicals loved him . Wait I think so uhhm a quick google brings up Young Evangelicals' Embrace Of Huckabee Threatening To Divide ... ,Huckabee works magic on young people - Ben Adler - Politico.com, Evangelicals, young voters propel Huckabee, Obama in Iowa ... Young voters answer call of presidential candidates - The Boston Globe ,Chuck Norris and Ric Flair Campaign for Huckabee in South Carolina ... etc etc etc. She knows the exit poll numbers and how Huckabee got the youth vote. I doubt she has amnesia.

Why did Mrs Lopez take the first negative email and starting humping its leg like a dog in heat on the Corner Blog. She could not even wait a hour to do another anti Huckabee post and she goes with something that underlying facts are wrong!!! BY the way didn't Lopez castrate Huckabee for being liberal and reaching out to this kind of Evangelical crowd? Well yes she did

Mrs Lopez went from liking Huckabee , in those early summer debate last year, to transforming into some Joan Collins character Alexis Carrington attacking Mike Huckabee like he was Blake on Dynasty in order to smash him into the ground to gain control of Carrington Enterprises. Well I do say this both she and Alexis have one enduring quality. (In the words of first Mrs Bush as she was discussing someone it rhymes with w****) Her transformation into turning into a anti Hucabee ranting parrot has been one that many of us have theories about. Anywho

IF this continues I suppose one day when I have nothing better to do ,nausea pills in hand ,go through and post every entry she has done on Huckabee since August to show the extent of her Hackery. However I rather work to get McCain elected


Mrs Lopez was actually quite bearable the last few days. She is for good or bad the self proclaimed defender of Holy Mother Church on the Corner Blog. On Tuesday she did a series of Catholic related posts and only promoted Mitt Romney (her guy) once for VP during the day!!!

Perhaps she is aiming to be Chief of Staff in a Romney VP Office. I hate to burst her bubble but I am sure Mitt would like her to shut up..

Partly because there is a theory out there of a joint effort by far right conservative sand their mailing list allies(send us another 20 Dollars the Republic is about to fall) effort to create disharmony between McCain, Huckabee, and Romney supporters to make sure McCain loses. That is create disunity leading the way for their guy to run in 2012 against an Obama that would have overstepped. Lets face the GOP keeping the White House for 12 years in a role is a unlikely feat so why not take the loss now and pick it up in 2012?

Now I am not sure I buy that yet!! However it is a theme that that some are thinking.

Regardless Mrs Lopez let it go. Let it go. It is not January 2008 but it around four months till the general election. She knows it is doubtful that Huckabee will be VP. She is looking to the future. That future soes not want Huckabee to be a voice in any way!! Thats fine Mrs Lopez. However can we wait till after the elction. This former Huckabee Supporter , along with many others, are proud to be working hard to get McCain elected. Lets do this if we must after election day shall we.
