Louisiana Catholic Blog Update For July 15th

This is more of a Louisiana themed picture than Louisiana Catholic themed pic. I like this photo because it shows how things have changed. In the background is of course the famous Tiger Stadium at LSU(much added to now). The men are sitting on Mississippi Levee in front of the Sugar Cane fields. This is near where the Vet Center is today. I don't know how long Cane was grown here but I did hear tales of how when the baseball stadium was built young kids would hide in the cane to watch the games. LSU Ushers/Marshals would get them out of there using cattle prods
