Bono and Honoring the Catholic Chinese Martyrs

Do people recall watching Bono at the Superdome in New Orleans at the Super Bowl Game after 9/11. It sends chills down my spine looking at it. How we forget and how we need to remember.

Catholics of course are taught that we should not only remember people but honor them. The Saints and especially the martyrs. It is important to recall and honor the people that died on 9/11 and it important today we recall the Chinese Martyrs we honor today.

What does this have to do with Bono? GO see The Deacon's Bench post Homily for July 9, 2008: Memorial of St. Augustine Zhao Rong and Companions, the Chinese Martyrs . Compelling!!

Tip of the Hat to the Anchoress and her post June 9, the Chinese Martyrs
