Bush and The President of France Having Cajuns Over For Dinner Tonight

Interesting Louisiana local color tonight at social dinner at the White House in honor of French President Nicolas Sarkozy. By the way he addressed Congress but we have no idea what he said because the Cable News channels did not cover it. I am going to post on that tonight. By the way some of these are not "cajuns".

Here is the guest list. We see the following:
Joey Durel, city-parish president of Lafayette in Louisiana, and Lynne Durel (wife). (I suspect they will not be talking about the ULL Ragin Cajun Football football woes)

Former Sen. John B. Breaux, D-La., and Lois Breaux (wife).

Aaron Broussard, president of Jefferson Parish in Louisiana, and Karen Broussard (wife). (Yes that is the same guy that cried on TV and about his momma in the nursing home during Katrina)

Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., and Frank Snellings (husband)

Billy Tauzin, president and CEO of Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, and Cecile Tauzin (wife).

I will note that Sen David Vitter appears not to be on the list. He perhaps had a prior engagement. However if it was intentional by the White House not to invite him I suspect I know the reason why :). Not saying that is what happened
