Well the Kansas Team is playing in the wonderful baseball land of oz at Alex Box and discovered they were not in Kansas anymore. ( I have been trying to work in a Wizard of Oz reference in this series).
The Tigers played another hard fought game against a very very good Kansas team and got the win. Today I think will be another good one.
Carl Dubois has a great post on the inning by inning action plus some audio interview links with the Coaches and players. See GAME BLOG: LSU 4, Kansas 2 (final) He will have another live post up today.
LSUsportsnet has Dean, Tigers Bounce Back to Even Series which has also a phot gallery and other game notes linked
The Advocate has Dean powers LSU to win and Adjustments help Ross against Kansas
Along with Carl's place check out the Advocate Baseball blog for their updates for today's games.
It is slightly misfortunate that for this game that and for LSU both LSU and Kansas are missing their best players. For Kansas that being Tony Thompson and for LSU that being Anthony Ranaudo . Still such things give opportunities to both teams as they find other leadership to make something happen. I think for both LSU and Kansas we have seen that so far.
Kansas got a little national attention for their win against LSU in game one. See the link here at Rivals - KU Baseball Rising
The Kansas Baseball site also has Top-Ranked LSU Rallies Past Kansas, 4-2
Geaux Tigers. Today's game starts at 1 pm. Since KU does not have to travel back (they are playing Tulame this week) there will be no game curfew of 3:30 so it will go a full game.
