Liberal Democrats Looking For Reasons To Vote No on Health Care Bill?

Over at the Campaign Spot we see:

I Don't Think Obama Thought He Would Have Wavering Illinois Democrats
Bits of news
like this would seem to make passage of Obamacare through the House near-impossible, but I don't know how much of this is real opposition and how much of this is posturing to win concessions elsewhere.

"[The restrictions on illegal immigrants] are enough to say I can't support this bill," Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill. said during an appearance on MSNBC.

Maybe everybody can see that the votes aren't coming together, so everybody wants to register their disapproval and give their reasons for voting "no"...

I wonder how much of this is real objections or people looking for a way out and clothing their no vote for other reasons.

Also there is a interesting side issue here. Why would Rep Luis Gutierrez object to this if he thought there was a good chance that Obama was serious about getting immigration reform passed? I mean who cares if the Health Care does not have this provision if in a few months many of the illegals aliens will get pathway to Citizenship and be be put on some probationary residency and thus qualify. What does he know?

Does he know that House Democrat leaders have assured nervous moderate to conservative democrats they will not have to face a vote on the issue this election cycle? Maybe some one should ask him.
