See via First Things at Glenn Beck Thinks Catholics Should “Leave Their Church”
There are many reasons I have never drank the Glen Beck kool laid.
First I am not a Libertarian.
Second I realize Glen Beck's first obligation is to get ratings which I am pretty sure why he goes on controversal rants.
Third at least over a Politico I have power to vote them out when they say stupid things to mark my displeasure. As to Glenn Beck or others my power is limited. Which is one reason why I don't understand why people on the left or right put so much devotion into pundits like they are Messiahs.

I do not think Mr. Beck wants us to rebel against the CHURCH; he just wants us to root out the Leftists in our midst. I thank him for this.

My positionis the
The Church can have people from the left and the right in it. We can have the Dorthy Day pacfist and the Catholic Archdiocse of the Military. We can have the STUPAK of the world and his more conservative Catholic counterpart. . There can be legitiamte diversity according to Catholic norms on both the left and right
We do need more diversity in Catholic Social Justice thought which a lot of conservative Catholics are trying to bring. I don't think Beck's comments help any
With respect James H, I realize that Pro-Life Leftists are to be welcome in our CHURCH. However, some of us are sick and tired of money given to Catholic Charities being funneled to ACORN to promote Abortion and Euthenasia. That is where we draw the line. I agree that in is a shame to have an outsider help us our cause, but we need to hold these people's feet to the fire before more Conservatives Catholics get fed up and leave the Church.

Why doesn't Beck Stick to his own religion. Their are plenty of problems with LDS. He lost me as a viewer due to his anti Catholic rants.
