Friday, March 19 is the Feast of St. Joseph, a Solemnity, and as such supercedes the Lenten abstinence from from eating meat!
Now I think to live the Spirit of the Law one would need to honor or do something St Joseph related that day. I don't think just having a steak dinner would count.
