Are Republicans Ignoring Abortion and Other Pro-life Concerns

Over at First Thoughts there is a post that is pretty good. See Democrats Against Abortion. I agree with a lot of the comments Joe does here.

However are they? What about CAO?

I think part of the problem is that well the GOP is largely not a factor right now. Obama has managed with the Stimulus and the Health Care Bill debate that goes on for ever to suck all the oxygen out of the room. It has been mostly a defensive action on these two fronts.

It seems that abortion was able to be highlighted some in the Supreme Court nomination hearings.

Also this is a two way street. It is not just Republicans (elected) that have to create the noise but the pro-life community too. Not everything is done by just introducing a bill.

Until the 2010 elections Republicans are just not the Pro-life story really.
