It appears Father Decker of Thy Nose to the Marble. got a Gift . Go see Thanks Staff! Apple people LOL

Thoughts & Ruminations from Fr. Ryan has the lowdown on Oil Drilling in Alaska - not unexpectedly, the Sierra Club has been basically lying to us! .Also see this Latin Mass Obscure Factoids. Father gives us his thoughts on the upcoming Olympic Games at 30 Days, 11 Hours, 39 Minutes and 20 Seconds! He asks Is Rock Music Bad for Morality? - Also see his link I Love the Patriarch of Moscow! Good cartoon here he has. He comments on some US Bishops trying their damnedest to stall Missal reforms with death by committee here.

This is too funny too.(scroll down)

Cajun Cottage Under the Oaks has Celebrating PawPaw.

Our new Louisiana Priest blogger(He is a Louisiana/ LSU fan / Religious Priest Expat) we have added to the update Da Mihi Animas ( I am going to put him in the New Orleans Catholic Links I think) has Archbishop Angelo Amato, SDB: The New Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints! He has beautiful pics here at La Compania Church in Quito, Ecuador

Finally Our other Louisiana Priest expat (he being Religious also in this case a Dominican) Fr. Victor Brown’s Catholic Daily Message has Feast of Saint John of Cologne (9 July 2008) (this is interesting and is the Saint they celebrate as to their Dominican Calender)

6. However there will be no question of married lay former Anglicans becoming priests, since this would effectively abolish the rule of celibacy in the Western Church

The current pastoral provision allows Anglican priests converting to retain their wives. That said, it has no bearing on the practice in the western Church. Thus, 6. above is unlikely to happen without a separate rite.

I do agree the demand is too low for that though ....

This is not going to happen in the droves people think. Its going to happen as it has happened in the past ... one convert at a time.
