Baby Cate has a Prayer Request . He also has Cate's Account Information which for those that helped out with money in their families struggle might wish to check out .

The Louisiana Brown Pelican Society( lay Louisiana Catholic organization) again has major update filled with links that Catholics as well others should visit

Our Expat Louisiana Priest Da Mihi Animas has many good entries. Thank goodness becaue if not it would really be a short update!!

Go see The Miraculous Medal . I love this entry Don Bosco's Dream and Pope Benedict . I love the pictures especially the ones of Pope Benedict and the famous painting of Don' Dosco's vision. Something to ponder and pray over I agree. he has great video news on World Youth Day. See these great vids More on World Youth Day in Australia! and Pope Benedict in the Streets of Sydney!
He also has a event I did not blog on yet that Pope Benedict had. Go see The Holy Father Meets Young People which the address of Pope Benedict when he met with a gathering of disadvantaged youth. He has the link for EWTN Coverage for World Youth Day!! .Recall one can watch past events that are downloaded . What a great weekend thing to do :)

His link and article regarding WYD and how many (by the way I suspect it is just not youth but chaperon es, the local community etc,) are going to Confession. Go see World Youth Day and Reconciliation . Finally see St Camillus de Lellis: A Saint for Sinners!

Last but not least we have Fr. Victor Brown’s Catholic Daily Message our other expat now in Texas.

GO see his meditation at Feast of the Sicilian Martyrs (17 July 2008). Did you know that yesterday's Gospel Reading was only 5 lines long? Sadly I did not because I didn't read it. Father has his mediation on it at the above entry and it is very good. So I intend to read it today and also re Read Baby Cate entry yesterday that hit the Gospel reading too at Taking Off the Old Yoke

Well that is it for the update today. If around 5 blogs update on a Saturday I generally go ahead and put one up. If not the next Louisiana Catholic blog update post will be Monday
