Catholic Podcast For Those of US In the Rural South and Elsewhere!!

This sounds great!!!

Mac and Katherine Barron are the voices and talents behind the podcast Catholic in a Small Town, a show about a (fairly) young Catholic couple raising kids in the small town of Swainsboro, Georgia in the southern United States. Lifelong Christians, both are converts to Catholicism, coming to the faith shortly after their marriage in 1999. Mac is a high school teacher, Kat a stay-at-home mom and part-time emergency room nurse; that home includes their two young sons, two daschunds, a cat and a goldfish.

Catholic in a Small Town, gives them a chance to expound upon adventures living in the rural American South. They love talking about faith and family, movies, books, video games, and whatever else has grasped their attention lately. “After getting a new Mac (the computer that is) we decided to give this podcasting thing a try. Lo and behold, we enjoy it. And since Father Roderick over at SQPN liked us okay, we decided to link up with him and have become part of the larger podcasting world around us.”
Most shows are done on Sunday afternoon, south Georgia time, from the recording studio in One Barron Plaza, and in front of a live uStream audience. While they do not bother with blogging, Katherine has recently become a columnist on the CatholicMom.com web site, writing Bumps on the Road to Sainthood. You can see them, listen to them, write them, and support them at these links -
