Time Magazine had a pretty good article on this last week. Get Religion has the link and a good post on what is correct and perhaps not correct about the story.
As Get Religion notes this is not exactly new and has been happening for some time. Especially here in the South. It will be interesting besides the spiritual and theological implications, how this will effects politics.
