Senator Hutchison Confusing Wild Answer On Abortion

Let me say up front I have never been wild about Republican Rick Perry. I live in a media market that covers Texas too so I get a lot Texas news. I am not a Perry Hater but for some reason I have never been that thrilled with him.

So if I was in Texas I would be looking closely at Senator Hutchison in the Governors race. Her answer ( a wild confusing one) on abortion and Roe V Wade would not be pushing me into her camp though.

Hutchison and her "Pro choice" position has been a interesting one to follow over the years. There seems to have been some non aggression pact worked out with her and many pro-life GOP activists over the years. In her answer she is largely correct. She has been largely supportive of pro-life approaches to limiting abortion. Which is basically what is the best Pro lifer themselves can support and get through via legislation. She has also never made hay over Judicial appointments that might have pro-life inclinations.

Now in many ways this is not the abortion question to ask. In fact what does her answer have to do with the price of tea in China as to what she plans to do as a Texas Governor on the issue. Which is I guess sort of the fault of people asking the question.
