Yesterday I posted Senator David Vitter Has Had A Great Week . Well it has just got a lot better and I am not just talking about the event last night up North.

The key here was the rumored GOP foe Jay Dardenne. I have posted a good bit that I was pretty confident Jay would not enter the GOP Primary against Vitter. He did what he needed to do. He reminded people he existed, he reminded folks he is one of the more high ranking GOP guys in the State, and for staying out of the GOP primary he has accumulated chips which he will cash in later.
Absent something dramatic I think it is highly likely the GOP keeps Louisiana.
