Breaking : Liberals and Environmentalist Don't Care Much For Louisiana

I getting pretty convinced that people on all sides of political debates only care about issues when the "In" people make it a cause.

After Bush left the whole tragedy of Louisiana was forgotten. Why does Palin's views on Polar Bears and Drilling in Alaska get all the attention and we get NADA.

Now this is breathtaking. We have shovel ready projects that could actually produce jobs!! It seems with this stimulus bill theses project would be a no brainier.

All sides are guilty of this. However it is being noted down here how after the Dems made Katrina an issue basically now we are off the radar!!

The President of the United States in his first year in office has spent a grand total of four and half hours in Louisiana.

Depressing.

Now to be fair there are a lot of full time Environemental folks that do care about the situation. The problem is the people in power (politcos, pundits, the media) that elevate these issues to a public concern have pretty much lost interest.
