Mike Huckabee Versus Pat Robertson (Haiti Related)

I still don't think a lot of people realize the inner dynamics of Huckabee and the religious vote and why Huckabee had trouble closing the deal with them.

Part of it was his Bapt- coastal act really got on a lot of Baptist nerves (see the northern counties of South Carolina where they resent the whole TBN thing). That was not the only thing. There were hard feelingd still from the Baptist wars of the 80's where Huckabee was seen as aiding the "wrong" side by a few (The folks that won).

However I find it amusing that while everyone is spilling ink on Pat Robertson and how horrible all his comments over Haiti are and this attitude is dangerous that Huckabee was being torn apart when in his way he opposed it or least the attitude in a way .

Which brings up the interesting saga when the Pat Robertson media empire went against Huckabee because of these views. It is interesting to see how all this is connected.
