Again National Review Needs To Balance Mark Krikorian

See that last line about legal immigration. That is what I am really concerned about. The illegal immigration issue is just a side show. His agenda is far more radical than most casual readers of the Corner are aware of. I am not sure most folks would agree with their goal in domestic policy to reduce the United States population to around 150 million . Just saying.

Whose goal to reduce the US population? My goal is to get the government out of the business of engineering the US population, either to increase it (through immigration) or to decrease it (though how that's supposed to happen isn't clear to me, since with zero immigration starting today, our population would continue to grow for at least two more generations). It's today's American moms and dads who should decide how many Americans there should be in the future, not Congress.

With all due Respect Mr Kirkorian I watched CIS for a now a number of years. I quite understand your goals and you are in my view as radical as AL Gore.

We are not all malthusians. There is nothing all that conservative I see about a "malthusisan" viewpoint. Just saying one of the premier conservative magazines should balance your views out.

Who knows perhaps you shall persuade. But right now the fact you have the only platform over there does nothing for debate
