When this occurred I made the following observations
(1) This would stimulate nothing
(2) It was a huge waste of Obama's Political capital and could threaten what the Dems really wanted down the line
(3) I could not believe that Obama was letting Pelosi and Reid run the whole show
(4) That freezing out Republicans on this was really going to come back to bite them.
Well it appears I was right.
