I am not Mr Automotive. Sadly my car would not start yesterday. After paying way too much to tow it just 10 miles and then paying to much for a stater(It was about twice as expensive as I thought it would be) I got it in finally despite the oppressive heat.. Geez they don't make it easy to get to it. Luckly I had the interent to give me tips plus a friend that let me borrow tools.
At least I saved Labor cost!!!

Sadly, I am not very mechanically inclined.
However, in God's benevolent providence, I've had to make several repairs to my home (including fixing floor joists and re-plumbing water AND gas lines).
This made me realize that, unlike my grandfather's - or even my father's - my generation is as ill-prepared as it gets for the up-coming chastisement.
When the world falls into decline, and we'll need manual labor skills, I'm afraid things will get ugly.
