That was a silly talking point that being promoted for a few months. Now only has the GOP taken control of the New York State Senate(that is Yankee land) a new poll shows Voters Now Trust Republicans More than Democrats on Economic Issues.
Update- How the GOP took over the Senate is not really majing the GOP happy in many ways. Hopefully we can still keep it by gaining some more legit seats.

O NO, this cannot be! Republicans are way to far to the right! We are not moderate enough! We need to move more to the left to attract voters. We cannot be ahead on anything.
