Pro-Life Catholic Republican Gets Big NRA Endorsement in Virginia's Governor Race

Catholic Pro-lifers, conservatives, and Republicans need to be care not have the Obama administration suck all the air out of the room. That is dangerous. I think on the whole, Myself included, have not been defending Robert F. "Bob" McDonnell as he coming under attack. This has largely gone under the radar.

We need to get this seat back. The governors races will be huge because well they will play a pivotal role in drawing up new Congressional districts after the census.

This could be a much needed win in a purple trending state. Coupled with a probable win New Jersey the silly the GOP is just the deep South argument will be exposed.

The NRA endorsement was huge and how this plays out in Northern VA is interesting. Contrary to CW that has been outdated for some time gun rights are not so anathema to even liberals anymore.

The Campaign Spot via NRO had a slew of interesting posts on this that examined the NRA endorsement how this is the huge for the GOP.

See in order of posting Creigh's Deeds Come Back to Haunt Him Regarding the NRA's Endorsement, 'Any Deeds supporter who views the NRA endorsement of McDonnell as a good thing is either an idiot or a very new resident of the Old Dominion.' , and I'll Bet Those Grapes Taste Sour, He Added

I do love this part:

One more thing: In the past four years, Attorney General Bob McDonnell told Mayor Bloomberg to take his "straw purchase" private investigators and shove them, or face arrest in Virginia. That meant a lot to NRA members in the Commonwealth.
