Mirrors of Justice is one my favorite Catholic blogs and actually gets a lot of hits in the legal community.
I am very pleased to see that Prof Robert George of Princeton is now blogging there. He has done the real heavy lifting on such things as Natural Law. He is a very respected voice in both Protestant and Catholic circles as well as secular arenas . In fact a Baptist University in Nashville devoted a whole conference to him and his book Making Men Moral that was released 25 years ago. Talks can be listened too here.
He recently spoke at LSU at an event I so wished I could have gone too. The Chair of the Polical Science Department said
“No scholar I know is more fearless in the face of controversy than Robert George,” said James Stoner, chair of the Department of Political Science at LSU. “He addresses some of the most difficult moral and legal issues of our time in a clear and reasonable way, neither dodging tough questions nor settling for cheap debater’s points.”
Here is his first post. See "Elementary Experience" and Natural Law"
