Catholic Blogs Unhinged- The South is Evil- People Critcal of Obama Are Racist

Good Grief. I will respond to this nonsense in more detail when my blood pressure goes down.

I have to say that racism is a serious sin and note this "Catholic " blogger (by the way please observe the we versus them- I guess Catholic Southerners are the them) is ALLEGING a serious matter.

I will get more into this but a little information to the clueless

People oppose Cap and Trade not because President Obama is part African American but because it will ruin their lives. Including many of these "out of step " Southerners that depend on the energy business.

People oppose the pro-choice policies and the foreign policy of President Obama on promoting abortion not because he is part African American but because they believe in the life of the unborn

People oppose pthe health care bill not because President Obama is part African American but because they think it is a disaster that will lead to worse health care.

People oppose President Obama on his foreign policy regarding Honduras, Iran, and Israel not because he is part African American but because they think it is idiotic and dangerous

People oppose President Obama on Card Check not because Obama is part African American but because they think getting rid of the secret ballot is UN American

People oppose President Obama on the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act not because he is part African American but because they think the natural law should be osewrved and for many Catholic Social Doctrine demands it.

People oppose Obama on his spending not because he is African American but because now we must make tough choices and we fear the Chinese Govt calling in this debt

Shall I go on!!! The president has unleashed a ton of lets say LIFE CHANGING proposals at one time. So I think it is not beyond the realm of possibility that the level of disagreement is kind of high,

Morning Minion decides to restart the civil war. Perhaps he should look at the polls and realize American opinion is a tad more complicated than a modern day General Lee versus General Grant.

Morning Minion I think must have a low expectations of our President. As to our President yes he can play hard ball and yes he knows his polices are life changing. However despite my disagreements I have not seen him play the racism card. He knows his proposals are game and life changing. Why do I keep thinking the President is not too happy with his supporters defense of him.

Instead of engaging the arguments of his opponents a good many of his yes white supporters take a paternalistic attitude toward Obama and use the race card. I stand by this but I don't think the President is likely pleased that his "supporters " go to the lowest level of the sewer of accusing vast amounts of the American people that disagree with him of one of the worst sins.

I am going to cool off and watch Monday Night Football. Which is perhaps best. Again watching a Catholic that thinks of himself so much as an advocate of Catholic Social Justice be himself in a sin of division and slander for what I expect is political frustration is a tad depressing.

In a way I am almost willing to let this go. People are getting frustrated being called racist because they have disagreements with Obama when just about a half year earlier they were having the same disagreement with white Democrats like Reid and Pelosi. It will all backfire because most American realize this is a COWARDS argument that attempts to shut people up. But what Morning is doing is slander and yes is sin. So it must be answered.

I have seen some real racism in my life and what Morning is doing is just like what with some Conservative do that in their political zeal are too easy with the NAZI label. The ironic things is neither Morning on the left or the extreme idiots on the right realize that. It is all slash and burn collateral damage for to them to get to their ultimate goal. For Morning I will say the sin is greater because well he pontificates against it.



More later against my better judgement. Sometimes engaging people from the left is about as frustrating as engaging people form the extreme Ron Paul Faction that think there is a plot to make a North American Union. All of them just want to drive you to drink. LOTS. One wonders what is the point. They will just stay in the their own political bubble where they got everything figured out and how their opponents are evil

I have cooled down. This will that I have to say on the matter. Most Americans know that racism has nothing to do with honest polciy disagreement and it is become sort of a joke now. I refuse to engae these nonsense in Catholic circles unless I have too.
