Is is getting close to hunting season so a few of my hunting readers might find this interesting. See Hunting Violation Checkpoints
As a general matter I am not a big fan of checkpoints. Also this an area of the law (search and seizures ) that I wish the Supreme Court would start cutting back on all the exceptions to the rule that allows it.
This is an interesting case and I share the same concerns as the poster. I would love to see a split in the circuits and perhaps the Court review this matter.
