Catholic Patrimony Saved- Stained Glass From Philadelphia Catholic Church To be Used in New Raleigh Cathedral

Windows From Our Lady of Ascension in Philadelphia

The New Cathedral for the Diocese of Raleigh Which is About To Break Ground

This is some welcome good news. I am a big advocate of us saving our Catholic patrimony in this way as we have to close down some Churches and build others in various parts of the country.

See from the News Observer Raleigh cathedral will have stained-glass windows from Philadelphia.

This blog has a small piece on this windows here.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to
my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed
the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and
it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
