Recent Religious Literacy Test Shows Crisis In Catholic Education - So Lets Change the Test

Every year in the USA we have some mega Catholic conference in the USA called the THE LOS ANGELES RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CONGRESS that a beaucoup bunch of folks go to nationwide.

Last year 39,000 folks attended. (and as you can see it has quite an impressive web page)

We are constantly getting reports each year how just FABULOUS things went at the conference.

I always wonder how things actually went because it seems despite the grand Relgious Education Conference that has been going on for 30 years since it seems that Catholics appear to be getting more ignorant by the year.

We sort of had our religious education Catholic literacy dirty laundry exposed for the world to see when the Pew folks did that religious test last week

So what is the answer. Well it is clear. In the fine traditional of Public schools (and who knows maybe Catholic schools) we need to change the test. Make it more realistic so Catholics self esteem is not hurt .

Here is the new test that shall be given to all Catholics. See:
