Another event was hosted at Berkeley’s Newman Hall – Holy Spirit Parish, which announced a Rosary “in solidarity with LGBT Catholics” facilitated by McMullan and Mike Campos, another doctoral student at the Graduate Theological Union.The “Relational Mysteries” are listed as Fidelity - Ruth’s pledge to Naomi; Grief – The Parting of David and Jonathan; Intercession – Esther intercedes for her people; Restoration – the raising of Lazarus; and Discipleship – the two encounter Christ on the road to Emmaus...........................
You know we need to get back to excommunications. Better yet things like this make me think we should go back to the Papal practice of the interdict and put the entire City of San Francisco under it or at least Berkeley. Maybe we can return to Papal Armies!! Right now I would love a Vatican B-52 bombing raid of the Berkeley Newman Hall.

Update-
I would have no problem with people that have Same Sex Attraction using the Rosary and pertinent scriptures to try to live their lives in the fullness of the faith. Pretty sure that is not what is going on here.

I agree with you 100% on your update...this is just.not.good.or.holy. and is not in accordance with the intent of the beautiful rosary prayer which is to focus and meditate on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
It is lets face it a slap in the face of Christ. I have gay friends and they would never do this
I alos have gay friends or to be more precise a few guys I know that have SSA and live in the truth of the Church. This is a slap in the face to them
That's disgusting, and a complete insult to people trying to live chastely struggling with SSA. What a great way to belittle they're struggles for virtue! I mean, it's too hard for anyone to conquer right? Might as well have every Catholic struggling with SSA just give up the struggle and give in to despair. Yes, this is true charity. Telling people that they're struggles are too hard even for God to help them through. Great job Berkeley Newman Center! Bravo! >.<
Let’s not focus on those distorting our Faith and the Rosary, but let’s focus on Our Lord and Our Lady. Giving in to anger and fear is what the devil wants. Let’s not be indifferent, but if events such as these move us to pray more, then they will backfire on the devil: he doesn’t want us to pray! Let’s do more reparation, pray the Rosary (it can never be taken from us), and reach out to those who feel alienated by the Bible and by Church teaching.
Our Lady wants to bring them back to a chaste love for Christ, and our efforts to do so also please her. We can live “charity in the truth,” as Pope Benedict XVI tells us.

There has been a divide between religion and gay people. If this heals the divide, I think God would want it. If you don't like the Relational Mysteries, no one is forcing you to pray them. So far, it seems like a fringe element and it will proabably remain that way.
