Big Series for LSU Baseball- The Arkansas Game Preview

The series against Arkansas is huge huge huge this week. If we want to host one of the nations highly coverted super regionals I think we need to take 2 our 3 in this series. Arkansas is the same boat.

It will be one another tougher series has LSU has played this year. The Crowds and devotions that Arkansas fans are very close to LSU. When LSU last played in Baum Stadium, in 2007, the series drew 10,399, 10,727 and 9,438. LSU won two of those three games. I expect full sell outs. In an Advocate article that I link below:

Said LSU senior pitcher Louis Coleman, “When we go there, it’ll feel a lot like home. It’s just we’ll have people yelling at us instead of for us.”

Said LSU catcher Micah Gibbs, “The teams we’re playing are great, and the crowds are going to be big. That’s why you come to colleges like this. It’s kind of indescribable how much fun it is. Especially for me. I love going on the road and hearing everybody say everything to you, just listening to the trash they talk.”

Said Dean, “It’s fun to go out there and play a game like that and having so many people watching. They’re going to be ragging on us, and we’re going to feed of that. It’s going to be fun
.”
