LSU Beats Stetson and Louisiana Tech Loses Against Central Ark in March 8 Baseball play

After weather postponed games on Friday for LSU and Louisiana Tech, as well as most Louisiana teams, baseball was back on yesterday.

LSU got to meet up with Stetson again out of Florida. IF you recall they really gave us problems last year. Yesterday was different. LSU swept the double header and beat Stetson 9 ot 3 and then 6 to 5 in the second game. The second gam eneedless to say was a tad too close for comfort. LSU Sports net had a nice write up at Baseball Takes DH From Stetson, 9-3 and 6-5. The Advocate has their article up at Tigers sweep Stetson . There is a nice story here that might bring back some memories for some Tiger fans about a former player that died in tragic circumstances later in life. Go see Late Smith brings back memories

The Advocate's Carl Dubois' LSU Baseball Blog under the March 8th entries has a lot of info that is nice to look out. Be sure to check out his entries for today.

LSU plays the third and final game in their series today starting at 1 pm. Since there is no plane for Stetson to catch out of New Orleans because they came by bus there shall be no curfew on this game. Which means it goes on till it is finished.

NOW THE BAD NEWS!!!!!

Louisiana tech got beat by Central Arkansas in their first game of the series 5 to 0. The News Star World has the story at in a pretty good article Tech bats can’t find the gap against Central Arkansas; Bulldogs
fall 5-0. Louisiana Tech has a double header today against Central Arkansas where hopefully we shall redeem ourselves. First pitch slated for noon today at J.C. Love Field. Game one will be a seven-inning game, with the second game scheduled for nine innings.

Update-
