I am one step closer in trying to find bloggers in Louisiana that blog on the Catholic Faith. This new blog will be of interest to all Catholics no matter where one might be. That blog is Astonished, Yet at Home! Who could not like a Catholic Blogger that has this profile
Tobias Danna
I graduated from a neo-Pentecostal Bible college before entering the Catholic Church in 1999. The famed English convert John Henry Cardinal Newman said, "To be deep in history is to cease to be Protestant." While not nearly as deep as he, his conclusion is also my own. In January 2006, I called some friends together to start the Parousians, a Catholic philosophical and literary society. After beginning at LSU, the group has spread to other schools. I am still active with the Parousians, but let's be clear, I am responsible for the statements on this blog, not them. I am a native son of Louisiana, and I will always take a rebel stand for her. My interests outside of Rome include promoting American roots music, outlawing designated hitters and artificial turf in baseball, reading Southern fiction, studying agrarian and distributist writers, and consuming Abita beer to the point of hilarity but never drunkenness. Of course, these are all probably a reasonable cultivation of taste for a soul guided by the Church.
Ahh Abita beer. Purple Haze rocks that is all I am saying.
