Dark spots only small part of church's reality, says Vatican official

I thought this was a interesting and important article by the Catholic News Agency. This is referring to comments that the Vatican Secretary of State said in interview with Vatican radio. By the way he just seems that we can't get away form Cardinal Bertone and all the incredible work he has been doing the last month.

I think that is so true. I am not for whitewashing anything. However there must be balance. As we remember Hurricane Katrina here is just one of the many tens of thousands of things the Church is doing everyday.
