Do Pro-Lifer's Nationwide Need To Have A "Come to Jesus Meeting" On Louisiana Attorney General Foti

I don't know yet. However For the Greater Glory blog is raising a important issue.

Full discolsure. Foti is a Democrat, I am a Republican. I supported Suzie Terrell against him in the last election. I also know and think highly of Royal Alexander that is running against him. Also the fact that Royal is from North Louisiana and we really need someone in any statewide office(besides Bob Odom) from up here is weighing on my mind. Also I was not pleased with how Foti handled the famous nursing home case that involved the owners of a Nursing home that flooded during Katrina where residents died. I thought that was a witch hunt.

However what happened in those days at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Orleans weighs on my mind. Days after this happened a major newspaper in the UK thousands of miles away had the story. That story to say the least raises concerns.

I have problems how the media seems to be so biased in this. Part of the problem is the urban legend of Katrina. When people hear about this a wave of emotion comes up. People think that all the patients were about to die anyway because of flooding. Well that is nonsense.

My gut reaction is that people went into a panic in that hospital. The rumor mill created by the media was horrible. That is a mitigating factor as to punishiment but it does not justify Euthunasia. People died and shockingly the families are upset. We did not see this happening at the Major Charity hospitial LSU-New Orleans or at TULANE medical. They were in just as a bad situation if not worse.

These doctors and nurses might be innocent. However I am seeing too much evidence that supports probable cause for a trial.

People nationwide need to care about this case. It has more effects than just helping the right to die movement. One day there is will be another disaster on this scale. It might be a another earthquake or hurricane. God forbid it could be a terrorist attack of horrible magnitude. You or I might be the person in that hospital bed at the mercy of these doctors that might not be thinking straight. IF something happened here then it needs to be learned from so it doesn't happen again. Not swept under the rug.

Should not the pro-life movement be screaming here and holding usually pro-life Republicans feet to the fire not to make this a political issue if there is cause to believe that FOTI is right?
