Perhaps Senator Mary Landrieu Is Retiring Early

There have been rumors that she might leave the Senate early and become a Lobbyist. That would be a major move if she did that in the near future since she has just served one year of her term. I have discounted this in the pastbut......

I can't figure out why she has now just endorsed the Health Care bill in the Senate at this stage since there is so many parts of it that are up in the air. In fact the only ones that seem to be happy with it are drug related companies and related folks.

She is supporting a bill that most Louisiana folks don't like. Now even the "progressive base" of the Democrats like it. Add to that to get it passed she might have to support strong anto abortion language in a vote which will make the planned parenthood folks mad. Pro-Lifers don't trust her so she it is a lose lose there. She is just making everyone mad except perhaps drug companies.
