I thought this was a cool article about Nader Abdallah that plays football at Ohio State. He caught my eye when they played LSU for the big this year. PARTLY BECAUSE HE WENT TO ARCHBISHOP RUMMEL IN Metairie Louisiana (that is right next door to New Orleans for non Louisiana folks).
From his bio
High School: Enjoyed a very productive senior year, recording 76 tackles, including 11 quarterback sacks, in eight games ... also had two interceptions and swatted down five passes ... started in the U.S. Army All-American game in San Antonio ... led Archbishop Rummel to the state playoffs in 2003 and collected four sacks, two batted passes, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble in a hard-fought 7-5 second round loss to Shreveport Evangel ...ranked among top ten DT prospects in America.
How did LSU miss out on this guy that was just down the road? I talked to people that knew him at Rummel and he was very well liked. Frackin Nick Saban :(
Anyway be sure to read the Arab News article that has a lot more details at the bottom of the link.
Update- Be sure to read the comments at the link that are interesting
