Canterbury Tales that has been having a great many interesting posts lately has another one here at Demons unable to curse Blessed Virgin Mary.
That is indeed interesting and thinking back even in the many "Exorcist" type movies I have seen that had some research as a part of the script I can't recall it happening there either.
