Catholic Professor Francis Beckwith Offers Guidance to Humor Challenged Obama Supporters and "Some Catholics"

Well some people did not find the internet only McCain Ad on Obama "The One" very funny yesterday.

In fact a prominent Catholic blog declared "I think only a campaign that does not care much for the importance and value of religious symbolism could craft such a thing" and it that blog comments section "McCain supporters who are not very religious can embrace this stuff. But those McCain supporters who claim to be religious have dashingly exhibited to all of us the art of compartmentalizing and quarantining one’s life–faith over there, political allegiance over here".

Yikes!!!!.

Well noted Catholic Prof Dr. Francis Beckwith of Baylor (which of cousrse has a very funny football team :) ) has come to the rescue with Obama Lacks Sense of Humor - Some Suggested Comeback Lines. In the great tradition of bipartsian ship he has offered some comeback lines.

Here are a few:

* Next time he asks for me to heal his melanoma, the answer is “no.”

* Ironically, more men named “Jesus” will vote for me than will vote for Senator McCain.

* If I’m number one, this ad proves that the McCain campaign is full of number two.
