Dante's Divine Comedy is something I think I need to get around to reading one day. I suppose it is not taught in public schools very much because of the religious overtones. Sad. However I suspect it is not taught in Private schools either very much. That is Sadder.
I have read portions but never the whole thing.

Man, I need to read Dante still. Every time I pick it up to read it, I have to put it down and pick up my school books. So I never get too far in it. Also, Dante was not taught in my private, catholic high school.
