CLinton Caught On tape Lashing Out at Univ of Steubenville Catholic Students!!

ALl I have to say is John McCain and especially Mike Huckabee is gets your butts to the Univ of Steubenville and make a speech!!! Talk about showcasing the difference. This link has the vid and the you tube link.

STEUBENVILLE, OHIO, February 18, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Agitated after being greeted by over a hundred pro-life students at a rally in Steubenville tonight, former U.S. President Bill Clinton lost his temper yet again after losing his cool at an Obama supporter in Canton, Ohio. This time, Clinton lashed out during his speech at the pro-life students:

"I gave you the answer. We disagree with you," Clinton said. "You wanna criminalize women and their doctors and we disagree. I reduced abortion. Tell the truth, tell the truth, If you were really pro-life, if you were really pro-life, you would want to put every doctor and every mother as an accessory to murder in prison. And you won't say you wanna do that because you know, that you wouldn't have a lick of political support. Now, the issue is who, the issue is, you can't name me anybody presently in politics that did more to introduce policies that reduce the number of real abortions instead of the hot air putting out to tear people up and make votes by dividing America. This is not your rally. I heard you. That's another thing you need is a president, somebody who will stick up for individual rights and not be pushed around, and she won't."

Clinton's heated response came after being questioned on his support of abortion-on-demand. The outburst is on YouTube and is also being reported by MSNBC.

"Perhaps pro-abortion politicians will finally realize that they can't hide their views from pro-life students," said Billy Valentine, one of the Franciscan University of Steubenville Students for Life members who helped organize the protest of over 100 students.

"Our generation is pro-life. It is amazing that these pro-abortion politicians think that they can continuously support the killing of millions of unborn children and no one will express their dissatisfaction. They think they don't ever have to answer questions about their pro-abortion policies or the money they receive from pro-abortion lobbying organizations. This generation will no longer tolerate these types of politicians, their rhetoric, or their pro-death policies," said Kristan Hawkins, Executive Director of Students for Life of America

By the way this comes on the heels of Hillary Clinton Speaking at a Catholic College in Texas and the Bishops going bonkers over it.

Statement concerning the appearance of Senator Hillary Clinton at St. Mary’s University

I was surprised to learn of Senator Hillary Clinton’s appearance at St. Mary’s University. I was neither advised nor consulted by the university before the decision was made to have Senator Clinton speak at the university. Catholic institutions are obliged to teach and promote Catholic values in all instances. This is especially important when people look to our Catholic universities and colleges to provide leadership and clarity to the often complicated and conflicting political discourse.

It is clear that the records of Senator Clinton and some of the other candidates for president on important life issues are not consistent with the teaching of the Catholic Church.

It is not my intention to tell people for whom to vote. However, I encourage Catholics to understand the teachings of the church on the broad spectrum of public issues that are of great concern today. I urge the faculty and the ministry staff at St. Mary’s University to continue to carry out their responsibility to educate their students in their political duty in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church.

The Catholic bishops of the United States, in their 2004 document “Catholics in Political Life,” affirmed that when dealing with political candidates and public office holders, “The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. They should not be given awards, honors or platforms which would suggest support for their actions.”

In a statement distributed by St. Mary’s University, they wrote, “As a Catholic tax-exempt university, St. Mary’s does not endorse political candidates or their positions on issues and acknowledges the fundamental differences between those of the presidential candidates and the Catholic Church.”

Our Catholic institutions must promote the clear understanding of our deep moral convictions on an issue like abortion, an act that the church calls “an unspeakable crime” and a non-negotiable issue

Woohoo go Steubenville!!!! One of my friends Billy Valentine organized the protest, he worked for Brownback. He maybe can get McCain to go speak there because he is on McCain's Catholic board. But I like Huckabee too maybe both!

It would be a big place for both of them to go and do it quick while the CLinton thing is still fresh
