Another Custom Becomes part of American Catholic Life

I enjoy studying how different immigrat groups contribute to the frabic that is American Catholicism. Often so much of this goes under the radar until it so creeps up it catches you by the surprise. I am going to be highlighting two interesting posts Whispers in the Loggia has done recently. This one is very interesting. It is called La Quinceañera del Norte: Rite of Mass Passage. That is the the traditional wedding-like Mass and party to celebrate a girl's entrance into young womanhood at her 15th birthday. Pretty interesting.
