I have not touched on the Louisiana Governor's race much yet. Opinionated Catholic backs Bobby Jindal in case your wondering. Since I am not running for office I can say things the guys and gals running can't. Including my thoughts on the voting public.
I can't tell you how many times I have begged , pleaded , and tried to drag people to a political event. I hear people complain about politicians alot but they the populance at times do not take time often to come hear them and engage them. If you have questions of the people running there are ample opportunities to ask them personally. IF you have kids take them too!!! It sets a great example. For instance on Bobby's tour I am going to ask him his thoughts on Congressional Districts. Chances are that after the census Louisiana will Lose another Congressman. A lot of folks are going to be affected by how those districts are redrawn. The next administration is going to have a lot of input into that.
Anyway here is a schedule of his Bus tour and meet and greets via the The Dead Pelican for the First week. More detail will be forthcoming. LEt me say I like how Bobby is hitting the small towns and especially his North Louisiana focus. That will pay dividends.
