Vatican Insider has a good interview with Bishop Domingue Rey on the Reform of the Reform of the Liturgy and Pope Francis. One reason for this interview is there is a major Liturgy conference at the Vatican in June.
He says in part :
“Instead of anxiously wondering what Pope Francis personally thinks about every liturgical detail, we would do better to get on with the work we ourselves have to do,”
I think that is largely correct. The foundation for the reform of the reform has been established and there is no real indication there will be a reversal in this. It might might not be a Pope Francis theme of his Pontificate but that should not hinder those that have a calling in matter to lead.
A pretty good interview.
