    It is finally good to see bishops "bishoping" again! I wrote at length about bishops who viewed the office as more of one of "crisis manager" than shepherd of the flock in my book, The Smoke of Satan in the Temple of God. Search it on Amazon or on Blogger

    The pope is serious about this and has said so in the early days of his taking the office. Look for more strong direction on this.
