A day with dramatic images that started in USA time early in the morning and continued to just minutes ago as the final ceremony marked an end to the Pope Benedict Papacy. I just took the day off so I could just observe and absorb it all. The above is from the Vatican Newspaper with the picture being the Pope saying farewell to his Cardinals this morning.
