UC Irvine Law Dean Says Eliminate Private and Religious Schools - Everyone To Public School By Law

An incredible thing to be uttered by a Law School dean at a conference. See Chemerinsky Urges Compulsory Public Schooling and the Elimination (and Unconstitutionality?) of Private Schooling

As noted in the comments Dean Chemerinsky might think Catholic  and other private schools could be allowed but they would be an after " regular public school" or on the weekends. Kinda of like soccer practice. I guess this also mean home schooling would be out the window too.

There is a thousands things to say about this the least of which is the trend now is for the state to give vouchers for kids to go to private schools not try to make their lives harder.
