Too say the least I have a ton of concerns with the Episcopal Church USA as any even short term reader of this this blog will know.
However facts matter and this Wall Street opinion piece about the recent Episcopal Church and their Convention last week is so riddled with errors one does not know where to start. There is no doubt there are some kernels of truth here. For instance the current head of the Episcopal Church has amassed more and more power to herself and her office. In fact in this past Convention we seem to have seen a new theme if you question that new power you are accused of being afraid of "strong women" .
Still this rather fact challenged article does not help on that matter or many other matters. For instance it is hard to find evidence that the lay led Eucharist movement comes from the left.
George Conger who has been one of the better people covering the Episcopal Church and all things Anglican really tears this Op Ed apart at Rum, sodomy and the cash: The Episcopal Church . He gives a good bit of clarity.
I see a lot of progressive Episcopalians seething that this Op Ed is getting so much play simply because it is the WSJ . They don't think it is fair at all.
I really feel for them. Many Catholics know what this feeling is like.. The misrepresentations and "too lazy to get the facts" attitude about the Catholic Church, Bishops, Vatican, Pope etc are seen each week in Op Eds and indeed articles in the NYT and Washington Post.
There are some major issues in the TEC and it's path it is going down. Sadly this piece does not help matters.
Oh, yes, millions of children throughout the world are in extreme danger of being sexually assaulted by pedophile priests, for whom the Roman Catholic Church has been in conspiracy to cover up during the past century, but a completely different denomination is where they place their concern.

Usually it's a result of the sincerness displayed in the article I read. And after this article "Opinion Piece In Wall Street Journal On the Episcopal Church is Very Fact Challenged Sadly". I was excited enough to post a thought :-P I do have a few questions for you if you usually do not mind. Could it be simply me or do a few of these responses look like written by brain dead people? :-P And, if you are posting at additional social sites, I would like to follow everything new you have to post. Could you make a list all of your social pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
