Just got back into town last night after a rather more than expected extended stay to bury my grandmother. I will post on that later later perhaps.
I decided to sleep in this morning and the morning I do some rather major Catholic News was happening on the West Coast. A Catholic Bishop resigned after admitting to having father two teenage child. On a more positive note Pope Benedict has quickly made his choice for the new Bishop of San Diego for the future. Thus it appears preventing a long delay in finding a replacement in this very important Diocese of over 1 million Catholics.
Rocco combines both events into a very informative post. See In SoCal, Seismic Shock: Cirilo, Up... Gabino, Out
